Defense against appeal

A personal process at a college or university, through which a professor who has received a call to another college, is to be induced to stay, is called defense against appeal (also terminations ) .

The offer to him can be of a financial nature (in the case of self-administration) or an additional post of a university assistant , but also consist of improved research conditions , reduced teaching duties or questions about the structure of the institute.
