The Salary Structure Modernization Act ( BesStMG ) is a German article law that changed salary law, supply law, moving costs law and federal separation allowance law . The Article Law amended 16 laws. An accompanying regulation (shell regulation) was adopted by the federal government on December 3, 2019 and announced in the Federal Law Gazette on January 10, 2020 ( Federal Law Gazette I p. 27 ).
