Battle Groups Best Badge - Bronze, Silver and Gold

The best badge of the combat groups was an award given for special achievements by the combat groups of the working class of the German Democratic Republic . The badge of the best has the shape of a gold-plated clasp made of bay leaves and fruits, the ends of which point outwards. A red enameled workers' flag is placed over it, the flagpole and edges of which are also gold. The symbol of the combat groups is embedded in the center of the flag. The back is smooth and shows a horizontally soldered needle with a counter hook. The battle groups' best badge, like the other best badges of the GDR, was worn above the right breast pocket.
