Betina Mantey-Berg

Betina Mantey-Berg (born October 11, 1977 ) is a Danish judoka .

Mantey-Berg holds the 2nd Dan . In her weight class up to 63 kilograms and the open weight class, she was Danish champion 11 times in the course of her career. In 2005 she won the title of Nordic Champion. Betina Mantey-Berg fought in the 1st Bundesliga women, Germany from 1998 to 2000 for the judo club SC Tenri, Bad Segeberg and then from 2001 to 2004 for the judo club TS Einfeld. Betina Mantey-Berg represented the Danish colors at the World Championships in Munich 2001, Osaka (Japan) 2003, and the EM in Düsseldorf 2003.

After the birth of her first daughter in November 2006, she fought for Budokan Lübeck in 2007 and 2008 in the 2. Bundesliga women. Their second daughter was born in July 2009.

As a curiosity, and unique in Danish judo history, it should be noted that the three sisters simultaneously won the Danish championship in their respective weight classes in 2002 and 2003.
