The Bevis Marks Synagogue (English: Bevis Marks Synagogue ) on Heneage Lane in the East End of London is the oldest synagogue in England still in existence today .

history

It was built from 1699 to 1701 by the Sephardic community founded in the 17th century as a two-story box building made of red bricks. It is 24.50 meters by 15 meters and, based on the model of the Livorno synagogue, has inside (women) lofts on three sides.
