Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes
The Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes ( BVMC ; "Virtual Library Miguel de Cervantes") is a virtual library named after the Spanish poet Miguel de Cervantes . It is a large digital library project by the University of Alicante in Alicante , Spain, hosted and managed. It goes back to an initiative of the University of Alicante with the support of Banco Santander Central Hispano and the Fundación Marcelino Botín. The library contains an extensive collection of digitized texts from literary and scientific works in Spanish, including those from the Latin American world. Many thousands of books and magazines from the 16th to the 20th century are now presented in digital form.
