Library Regulations
A library regulations at a university library regulates the organizational position of the library in the university. In terms of content, for example, the authorizations of the library director can be defined and the collaboration of the library with departments and other institutions. In addition, the division of tasks between central and decentralized libraries can be determined in more detail and acquisition and administrative principles can be specified in more detail. Library regulations are not mandatory.
The term “library regulations” is often used synonymously with the term “ usage regulations ”.
