Beer salmon

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The beer salmon is actually called "Bierlatz" and is a variant of Skat . "Latzen" is a slang term for "to pay". So whoever loses pays the others a beer. The game is played according to the general rules of Skat (rules that are customary in the region or by agreement), with results added in the minus. So if the declarer wins, minus points are awarded to the opponents. If the declarer loses, the minus points are written to him.
