BING Power Systems GmbH (until 2001: Fritz Hintermayr GmbH Bing-Vergaser-Fabrik ) goes back to a company founded in 1926 by Fritz Hintermayr to manufacture motorcycle accessories.

history

In 1932 parts of the Bing production could be acquired and gas bath stoves and carburettors were produced from then on. After the owner's death in 1965, the sole proprietorship became a GmbH . In 1990 the 50 millionth carburetor was sold. With the increasing spread of manifold injection in vehicle construction, there was less and less demand for carburettors, and so, also in 1990, there was a change of ownership as part of a management buyout . Joachim Preissl took over the management. In 1993 the company moved to Nuremberg-Wetzendorf . In 2001 it was renamed BING Power Systems GmbH . Today, with around 150 employees, besides carburetors, throttle valves , intake switching modules for diesel engines , products for piston cooling, nozzles and other engine components are manufactured. In 2015, Bing Power Systems was majority acquired by an Indian investor, Flash Group. In 2017 the partner, Joachim Preißl, was dismissed as managing director and at the end of the same year he gave up the remaining shares in the company.
