Birillus
According to legend, Birillus († around 90 ) was the first bishop of Catania in Sicily .
Birillus, who is said to come from Antioch in Syria, is said to have been appointed by the apostle Peter himself and to have died at an advanced age. Birillus is venerated as a saint , his feast day is March 21st .
In martyrology Romanum of 2001 and 2004 Birillus is more not included because it is considered legendary.
