The Bismarck Tower was built in 1895. The architect was Ernst Milde. The foundation stone was laid on April 1, 1895, Otto von Bismarck's 80th birthday . Remains were excavated before the tower was built in 1893/1894. The castle was probably built around 1214.

In 1945 the tower was damaged by acts of war. The repair took place until 1950. When it reopened, the tower was renamed "Tower of Youth". With the fall of the Wall , the tower was renamed the Bismarck Tower again. The tower was renovated from 1992 to 1995.

The Bismarck Tower has a height of 28 meters. It was built as a defense tower, the idea came from the Malchow Castle, which was previously located here. The basement consists of field stones, these come from the castle. There is a round tower shaft on this basement. The tower shaft tapers upwards and consists of red bricks. The upper part of the tower is characterized by heraldic fields and battlements.
