The Bit Corporation is a former Taiwanese computer games - and console maker.

Games

The Bit Corporation was one of the few Taiwanese companies for game console in 2600 Atari designed its own software instead of existing works to port . The games were published worldwide under their own name or under the brand name Puzzy. The games published for the Atari 2600 included " Bobby Goes Home ", " Space Tunnel" , " Sesame, Open Up" , " The Postman" and "Dancing Plates" . The games were sold in Germany by the mail order company Quelle GmbH . The company also made games for the NES and the Famicom console.

hardware

The vast majority of the consoles that Bit Corporation manufactured were clones of existing consoles such as the Atari 2600 or Sega SG-1000 . The company also manufactured three home computers , the Bit-60 , the Bit-79 and the Bit-90 , which are technically based on the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision (Sega SC-3000) hardware and on which the cartridges of the two game consoles are placed could also play. Bit Corp. was also involved in the handheld console Gamate , which was the first handheld console developed in-house in Taiwan.
