Bitweaver is a free web content management system based on PHP and MySQL and is subject to the LGPL . The system is a fork of Tiki . The basic system itself offers one with modules scalable framework with multi-user management.
Bitweaver can be expanded with so-called modules to include additional functions such as blogs, forums, wiki and much more. The system is also suitable for complex websites. The design and layout can be adapted using the integrated Smarty template engine or using the layout templates that are already available. Bitweaver uses a template engine with which in principle everything can be adapted, but there are only a few outstanding pre-made layout templates for the system.
