Bladder dysfunction

The term bladder dysfunction or bladder dysfunction is used as a collective name for all bladder disorders , thus all urinary storage and bladder emptying disorders .

Around 75 to 80% of all multiple sclerosis patients develop symptoms of bladder dysfunction in the course of their illness, around 80% of which are voiding disorders. If the disease lasts more than ten years, this percentage increases to 96%.
