Blesk (German Blitz ) is a nationwide Czech tabloid from the media company Ringier Axel Springer CZ as It has been the most widely read newspaper in the Czech Republic for years . According to the tabloid style, Blesk relies on lots of color, large photos and headlines and contains the latest news not only from the Czech Republic in a sensational style.

The newspaper appears in six regional editions (Prague, Northern Bohemia, Central Bohemia, Brno, Moravia and Moravian-Silesia). The Sunday edition under the name Nedělní Blesk (German Sunday lightning ) appears in tabloid format and in larger editions.
