Bleter far history

Bleter far geszichte (Yiddish music of History is) one in Yiddish published in the years 1948-1970 from the Jewish Historical Institute (Historical Żydowski Instytut Historyczny w Polsce / Jidischer Institute in Pojln / Yidisher historisher institute in Poyln) in Warsaw out given periodical , in which 18 volumes (41 issues) were published. In 1980 it was resumed as a yearbook and appeared until 1993 (a total of 31 volumes). This includes summaries in Polish and English. The editors included Bernard Mark , Szymon Datner and Maurycy Horn .

In it, important documents and testimonies to document the Shoah were published.

Predecessor (1926–1938)

As early as 1926–1938, Bleter far Geschikhte had appeared in Yiddish in Warsaw, devoted to the history of Jews in Poland and around the world. They were published by the Association of Jewish Academics in Poland. This predecessor also published articles by younger scientists; he first appeared under the name of Yunger Historians . The editors included Raphael Mahler , Emanuel Ringelblum and Jakub Berman .
