Blue Goose Records is an American music label that was founded by Nick Perls in the early 1970s .

While Perls re- released rare recordings from the 1920s / 1930s by blues and jazz musicians on the sister label Yazoo Records , he produced new recordings for Blue Goose Records by newly rediscovered African American musicians such as Sam Chatmon , Son House , Yank Rachell , Shirley Griffith , Thomas Shaw and Bill Williams as well as by younger performers from the USA and Great Britain such as Larry Johnson , Jo Ann Kelly , Woody Mann , Roger Hubbard, Roy Bookbinder, R. Crumb & His Cheap Suit Serenaders and Rory Block .

Most of the Blue Goose record albums were re-released on CD in 2002 on the Japanese label "Air Mail Recordings".
