Bluesway

Bluesway was the name of a subsidiary label of ABC Paramount founded in 1966, specializing in blues music. Bluesway signed almost every notable blues artist within a short period of time, including John Lee Hooker , Otis Spann , T-Bone Walker , Jimmy Witherspoon , Big Joe Turner , Charles Brown , Jimmy Reed and BB King, as well as bands like The James Gang . However, most of these artists were past their prime or made their best records for other companies. Bluesway existed until 1974.
