Boab Island is an uninhabited island in the Australian state of Western Australia . The island belongs to the Montebello Islands , a group of islands in the Indian Ocean . It is 79 kilometers from mainland Australia.
It is 230 meters long, 100 meters wide and three meters high. The neighboring islands are Bloodwood Island , Corkwood Island and Dryandra Island .
