Bobby Kennedy for President is a documentary series exploring the political rise of Senator Robert Kennedy in the 1960s. The four-part series was released on Netflix on April 27, 2018 .

Director-producer Dawn Porter's series explores Kennedy's political history, including his 1968 presidential campaign that ended with his assassination on June 5, 1968 .

In addition to archival footage, the show interviewed dozens of people who were in Kennedy's circle at any given time, including Rep. John Lewis , Dolores Huerta , Harry Belafonte , Marian Wright Edelman, and William Vanden Heuvel.
