The Bodenseeklinik Lindau is a private clinic for plastic surgery in Lindau .
history
The clinic was founded in 1989 by Werner Mang . The originally small private plastic surgery clinic with six beds had grown to twenty beds after ten years. A new hospital wing was built in 2000. In 2003 the extension of the building was completed and opened as a private clinic specializing in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Today the Bodensee Clinic has 50 beds in two wards, five operating theaters, an auditorium and a research laboratory.
As a training clinic, the clinic also has an auditorium. From here, live videos of operations are streamed to train prospective doctors.
social commitment
The medical director of the clinic, Werner Mang, chairman of the Prof. Mang Foundation, operates on children from socially disadvantaged families. The Bodenseeklinik also carries out facial reconstructions for victims of the Ramstein disaster , financed by the foundation.
