Bow press

A bow press that tightens the limbs with a threaded rod. The bowstring is noticeably sagging and relieved.

An archery press is a specialized tool used for archery maintenance . Arch presses are used to be able to work on the compound arches, which are always under great tension . The pressing unit presses the sheet together at the outer limbs, the large voltage of the limbs decrease. It helps with the replacement of the bowstring , the maintenance of the wheels and their bearings, as well as with the installation of a peepsight or noise suppressors (silencers) in the tendon of a compound bow. It is not required for simple bows.
