Eternal table of the Czechoslovak Football League

The Eternal Table of the Czechoslovak Football League is a statistical listing of all top division championship games in Czechoslovak football from its foundation in 1925 until its last season in 1992/93. On January 1, 1993, Czechoslovakia split into two independent states, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic , split up. The calculation is based on the two-point rule, i.e. two points for a win and one point for a draw.

In Czechoslovakia, a national top division in football was introduced in 1925, it was a professional league . After the defeat of Czechoslovakia, there was a separate league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia as well as in Slovakia from 1939 . After the restoration of Czechoslovakia in 1945, there was again a national first division, but officially under amateur conditions .

The best club team in Czechoslovakia in terms of absolute points but also the average number of points gained per game is Sparta Prague , which also has the most wins, the most goals and the best goal difference. The best Slovak team in third place is Slovan Bratislava , the only team from Slovakia that played in the first division before 1945. A total of 15 clubs from Slovakia played in the top Czechoslovak league, 48 came from Bohemia and Moravia, three of which belonged to the German-speaking minority: Teplitzer FK , DFC Prague and DSV Saaz . The SK Rusj Uzhhorod came from the Carpathian Ukraine .

17 clubs no longer exist today, one club, Čechie Karlín , has no football department, two clubs, AFK Kolín and 1. SK Prostějov currently only have junior teams.
