The eternal table of the Eredivisie is a ranking list of all championship games of the Dutch Eredivisie since it was founded in 1956. The calculation is based on the 3-point rule (three points per win, one point per draw).

Ajax Amsterdam was first in the all-time table until the 1964/65 season , when they achieved their worst result to date with 13th place. They were replaced by Feyenoord Rotterdam for the next three seasons . Ajax has been back at the top of the rankings since the 1968 season. Together with PSV Eindhoven , Ajax and Feyenoord are the only teams to have played in all seasons since 1956. The last new addition among the 54 teams that have played in the Eredivisie so far was FC Emmen , who made the table for the first time in the 2018/19 season.

In addition to the current 18 first division clubs, the table also includes fourteen second division clubs and eleven amateur teams as well as eleven clubs that have since been dissolved.

Special feature in the 2019/20 season

The 2019/20 season was canceled prematurely after the 26th matchday due to the COVID-19 pandemic , Ajax, Utrecht, Feyenoord and AZ were the only teams to have only played 25 games each. No team was relegated from the league the following season, but there were no newcomers either.

table

Clubs in bold played in the Eredivisie in the 2019/20 season . The fourth from last column shows the average number of points won per game, the third from last shows how often the club has become Dutch champions since the introduction of the Eredivisie . The third column shows how many complete seasons the club has already played in the Eredivisie.

In addition to the current 18 first division clubs, the table also includes fourteen second division clubs and eleven amateur teams as well as eleven clubs that have since been dissolved.
