De Volewijckers was a Dutch football club from the north of Amsterdam .

history

The association was founded on November 1st, 1920. In the 1943/44 season the club became Dutch champions . Since the introduction of paid football in 1954, you played for two years between 1961 and 1963 in the Eredivisie . In the 1973/74 season, the professional division joined FC Amsterdam , which had been created two years earlier through the merger of the professional divisions of Amsterdamsche FC DWS and Blauw Wit Amsterdam . The football business was continued in the amateur area. In its final 2012/13 season, the club played in the Vijfde Class Zondag . Then the club merged in 2013 with ASV DWV (Amsterdamse Sport Vereniging Door Wilskracht Verkregen) to DVC Buiksloot (DWV Volewijckers Combinatie Buiksloot).
