Rucki-Zucki

The Boing Ball , known as Rucki Zucki in the GDR , is a toy that two people can play with at the same time.

The ball resembles a football , but is made of plastic and has a longitudinal hole through which two cords with handles at the ends are pulled. Each player receives two handles. As one player opens his arms wide, the boing ball is accelerated by the spreading of the strings and moves towards the other player who has closed his arms and is holding the handles together. When the ball hits the handles, a kind of boing sound is heard, from which the name of the game is derived.

This game is mainly played outdoors on the beach or on (sun) lawns, as arm room and sufficient distance between the players is required. The game becomes more interesting when several pairs compete against each other. A certain time is set and the number of Boings achieved by the respective pairs is counted .
