The stone circle of Boleycarigeen ( Irish Baile Uí Chiaragáin , also called "The Griddle Stones") is located in a clearing about four kilometers from Castleruddery in County Wicklow in Ireland . It dates to the Bronze Age .

The stone circle of which 11 stones (of probably 15) have been preserved, has elements of the Cork-Kerry series and the Recumbent Stone Circles , which have a graduated height. The largest stones are the two access stones. They are opposite the lowest stone in the circle. An exact assessment is difficult, as stones are missing in two circle segments. The circle is surrounded by a low wall.

Legend has it that the mythical warrior Fionn mac Cumhaill ( English Finn McCool ) and his wife Sadhbh , who lived on a slope opposite, came here to cook their meals.
