The Bolscheochtinsky Bridge ( Russian Большеохтинский мост Bolscheochtinski most , German , 'Great Ochta Bridge' ) crosses the Neva in Saint Petersburg . It connects the city center with the district of Ochta, after which it is named.

On June 26, 1909, the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Poltava , construction began on the bridge. It was named "Bridge of Tsar Peter the Great" ("мост Императора Петра Великого"). The bridge was opened to traffic on October 26, 1911. After the revolution, the bridge was renamed Bolsheochtensky (Большеохтенский), in 1954 the correct name was changed to Bolscheochtinsky Bridge (Большеохтинский).
