Bomas of Kenya

Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village in Langata ( Nairobi ).

The village is built like traditional villages of earlier Kenyan peoples and is therefore a tourist attraction. It was established by the government in 1971 as a subsidiary of the Kenya Tourist Development Corporation .

It is designed to preserve and promote the various unique cultures and peoples of Kenya. In the village there is also the largest theater in Africa with 3,500 seats, where traditional dances of the different peoples of Kenya are performed.
