Guitar Booster

A booster is an electrical amplifier that has an adjustable high gain factor. Boosters are used for guitar sound to increase the weak electrical signal of the pickups of electric guitars so much that subsequent (tube) amplifiers can be overdriven to a greater or lesser extent or to generate even more overdrive with already overdriven (tube) amplifiers.
