The Boot Rock ( English for boot rock ) is a 30 m high cliff in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It is located 150 m off the southeast coast of Candlemas Island .
The rock was mapped and descriptively named by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations in 1930.
