The Borchgrevink Canyon is a deep trench off the north coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is east of the Iselin Bank on the border between the Somow Sea and the Ross Sea .

The name recognized by the Advisory Committee for Undersea Features in 1988 was based on the name of the Borchgrevink coast , which was named after the Norwegian polar explorer Carsten Egeberg Borchgrevink (1864-1934).
