Borcholt
Borcholt is the name of a north German patrician family with the following well-known representatives:
- Caspar Borcholt († 1599), archbishop of Bremen, episcopal Hildesheim and princely councilor of Lüneburg
- Georg Borcholt († 1600), Mayor of Lüneburg (1578–1594)
- Heinrich Borcholt (1531–1585), Chancellor of Verden
- Johannes Borcholt (1535–1593), German legal scholar
- Statius Borcholt (1569–1617), son of Johannes, lawyer and chancellor in the service of Duke Friedrich Ulrich of Braunschweig
