Boris Yeltsin Monument
The Boris Yeltsin Monument is a memorial plaque in honor of the Russian President Boris Yeltsin in the Estonian capital Tallinn (German Reval).

The memorial plaque is located at the northern end of Süsternstrasse (Estonian Nunne tänav ) on the northwestern edge of Reval's old town below Toompea .
history
The initiative to create the monument began on February 1, 2012 and was initiated by a group of 39 personalities from society and business, led by Meelis Kubits. The occasion of the ceremony was a visit Yeltsin in Tallinn in January 1991, in which he for the time still to Soviet Union owned Russian Republic , the sovereignty of the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania recognized.
The memorial plaque was unveiled on August 22, 2013 by the President of the Estonian Parliament Riigikogu , Ene Ergman .
