Boundless is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with a huge open game world in the voxel style. It was created and published by the Guildford-based video game company Wonderstruck. On November 13, 2014, it was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows and macOS as an Early Access version .
Gameplay
Boundless is a multiplayer game for PC and PS4 . Every player, whether on PC or PS4, plays in the same open universe and can interact with other players on both platforms equally. The game world consists of many different planets that can be visited, some of which are friendly and full of beauty, while others are full of dangers, but rich in resources. The player can in the first-person view , or in the third-person perspective play. At the beginning you choose a character from different races and adapt it to your ideas.
There is no real goal in the game. Each player can decide for himself what he wants to do. One player becomes a hunter and sells his goods to others, another builds huge cities with friends on different planets or you trade valuable resources with one another. Portals or warps lead to new or previously discovered places.

In July 2014, the game was announced under the name Oort Online. The game received a lot of attention in a short time and the crowdfunding goal was already achieved in August 2014.
Oort Online was renamed to its current title Boundless in October 2015. The release of Boundless was planned for 2015, but was then postponed after 2016. At the end of 2016, the official release for PC and PS4 was then postponed to summer / autumn 2017.
An Early Access version with regular updates has been available on Steam since November 13, 2014.
