Brain Access was a live act in the field of electronic dance music.

Act

The group was founded in 1994 and was one of the most famous live acts in Switzerland. For eleven years, Brain Access played 60 live acts in Germany and abroad. In 2005 the trio broke up.

Brain Access initially produced happy hardcore , then trance / techno and later exclusively house . In the beginning, Brain Access consisted of the twin brothers Matthias & Roland Portmann, Claudio Addario and Simon Schellenberg. Simon Schellenberg later left the group.

The music producers became known for their live acts, in which synthesizers were used to play live and acoustic percussion instruments and pyro effects were often used.

  • October 1999: 40th Live Act
  • April 2000: fourth vinyl ("Gran Via" / GD Records / ZYX Music)
  • December 2000: 50th Live Act
  • April 2005: 60th live act and breakup
