Incendiary speech

An incendiary speech (French: discours incendiaire ) is a speech or a text that initially addresses a problem and thus leads to a social perception and treatment of a topic. Usually certain social grievances are described and their elimination requested or planned.

In a negative sense, incendiary speeches are also referred to as hate speech .
