Braspenning

The Braspenning (Braspfennig) is a coin from the 15th century. It was first allowed to beat for Flanders between 1404 and 1419 by Johann Ohnefurcht , Duke of Burgundy . It is a silver coin that was initially twice, later two and a half times the value of the penny .

The Braspenning was also occasionally defeated in the dominions and dioceses of western Westphalia.
