The company was founded as the Karl Gustav Falk brewery in 1850 and was geographically located on the southern slope of the Stein ruins in Baden (Switzerland). In 1872 the brewery passed to Blasius Welti and remained in family ownership without interruption. In the same year the name was changed to the Falken Brewery , and in 1905 the name Falkenbräu was created . Around 1950 the sole proprietorship was converted into the Falken AG brewery . The share capital of the microbrewery was CHF 1,000,000. In addition to the usual types of beer in Switzerland (lager, special, strong beer), natural mineral water, sweet drinks, and fruit and fruit juices were also produced. The brewery was founded in 1979 by the brewery and tailings fromWinterthur taken over and closed.
