The HB-207 Alfa is a school and light touring aircraft from the Austrian manufacturer HB-Flugtechnik .

History and construction

The Alfa is designed as a low-wing aircraft and is powered by a VW-Porsche HB-2400 G / 2 boxer engine with 82 kW. In the Alfa, two people can be seated side by side under a cockpit hood that can be pushed back. The aircraft is available with both retractable and fixed nose wheel landing gear. The first flight of the prototype took place on March 14, 1995. The aircraft is offered as a kit for amateur construction and requires approval as a single piece due to the lack of type certification. The illustration shows a version with fixed trolley and Rotax motor 912 S.
