Wide wiper
Wide mopping devices are used for cleaning floors. A foldable frame or plate is attached to a handle up to 1.60 m long with a joint that can be moved in two dimensions , with which the mop cover is fixed. This means that surfaces can be cleaned efficiently and without straining the back. The mop covers are washable. If there are enough covers available, a new mop cover can be used from room to room and the time-consuming rinsing can be omitted. Special mop covers for dry cleaning are also available.
Wide mop devices and mop covers (often made of microfiber ) are available from many suppliers and in different sizes and qualities. As a rule, products from different providers cannot be combined with one another.
Traditionally, a scrubber with a floor cloth or a mop is used to clean the floor . Both have to be rinsed out after small areas, whereby the cleaning water is getting dirtier and has to be changed soon. With the mop, it is difficult to completely remove coarse dirt. You often have to bend over with a scrubber / floor cloth.
For commercial needs, specially equipped washing machines for cleaning mop covers are offered.
