History and introductions

In 1976, the Bressot brand was launched as a fresh cheese brand . After a few years, the brand was renamed Bresso . As part of the tendency towards a low-calorie diet, a Bresso cream cheese was introduced as a light product in 1988, which is now called Balance . In 1989, the range was expanded to include the gems , a creamy soft cheese in different flavors. In 2001 and 2002 new flavors for cream cheese were introduced. The branding was modernized three years later.

Since 2007, fresh cheese portions have been sold under the Bresso brand that were previously under the Le Tartare brand (and still under the Tartare brand in France ). In Germany, Le Tartare is still available in the 150g tray. A little cream cheese has been added to the soft cheese since 2009 . Traditional was introduced in 2010 , with a portion of cream cheese served in a closable mug on decorative fresh paper. A year later, Bresso's packaging design was modernized and new flavors were introduced.
