Brigitte Schwack

Brigitte Schwack (* before 1951) is a German canoe athlete.

Brigitte Schwack was a member of the Rheintreue canoe club in Homberg. In her favorite discipline, canoe slalom , she was soon one of the top performers in her club, where she won the championship in single canoe slalom several times at local and district level in the 1960s.

Because of these successes, she became a member of the German national canoe team at the end of the 1960s. At the Canoe World Championships in 1969 she won 3rd place in the single and thus the bronze medal. She and the German team ( Ulrike Deppe , Bärbel Körner ) won the gold medal in the team competition in the single canoe slalom .

For this victory she received the Silver Laurel Leaf on June 16, 1970.
