A glasses cleaning cloth is a small cleaning cloth that is used to clean glasses , frames and optical lenses . It can be made of paper, textiles or microfiber .
A distinction is made between dry and damp glasses cleaning cloths. The dry cloths are often included as an extra when buying glasses or a case, they can be printed with the address of the retailer for advertising purposes. The trade also has glasses cleaning cloths made of microfiber fabric, which achieve a better cleaning effect. The wet wipes are mostly made of paper and soaked with additives such as isopropanol , fragrances and additives. They are sealed airtight in small bags, are opened before use and are usually only used once, as they dry out very quickly.
