Bring the Beat Back is rapper Steady B's debut album . It was released on June 27, 1986 on the Jive Records label, which at that time was mostly oriented towards hip-hop. It was officially released on vinyl only, not CD.

Before the album was released, Steady B had already released Just Call Us Def , Fly Shante (both produced by Lawrence Goodman) and Take Your Radio (split into 2 12 "vinyl singles), but these are on Bring The Beat Back not included.

All tracks (except Get Physical ) were produced by Lawrence Goodman. The scratches are from DJ Tat Money and Grand Dragon KD.
