British Caving Association

The British Caving Association (BCA), dt. British Caving Association , the Association for caving , -Diving and -Research in the UK . It has been recognized by the UK Sport , Sport England and SportScotland national associations . The predecessor was the National Caving Association (dt. National Cave Walking Society).

BCA members are sports associations, regional associations, clubs and individuals.

The sports associations are:

  • Association of Caving Instructors
  • Association of Scout Caving Teams
  • British Cave Research Association , a speleological association
  • British Cave Rescue Council
  • Cave Diving Group , the oldest diving club in the world
  • Council of Higher Education Caving Clubs
  • National Association of Mining History Organizations
  • William Pengelly Cave Studies Trust

The regional associations are:

  • Cambrian Caving Council
  • Council of Northern Caving Clubs
  • Council of Southern Caving Clubs
  • Derbyshire Caving Association
  • Devon & Cornwall Underground Council
