The Bydgoszcz dialect (in standard Polish language : Gwara bydgoska ) is a regional dialect of the Polish language in Bydgoszcz (German: Bromberg). The dialect developed primarily from the German language in the 18th century . After the Second World War, the dialect faded. Efforts have been made since 2012 to preserve the dialect.
