Brubu

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Brubu (also Broeboe ) is a gusty east wind on Sulawesi (formerly: Celebes).

It blows in the southwest of the island and carries dry air with it like a blow dryer. A 1945 report by the Allied Geographical Section stated that the wind was "less regular" than the monsoons and that the air was hazy and the weather was dry.
