Buba A. Bojang ran in the 2012 parliamentary elections as a candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) in the Foni Kansala constituency in the Brikama Administrative Area . Since there was no opposing candidate from the opposition, he was able to win the constituency for himself. He did not run for the 2017 parliamentary elections .
