Budapest Glagolitic fragment

Budapest Glagolitic fragment is the name for two small parts of a parchment manuscript in Old Church Slavonic in Glagolitic script from the late 11th or 12th century from Bulgaria , probably from the Preslav school. They contain text excerpts from a description of the saints (a homiliary or legendary ?) Of the early Christian saint Simeon Stylites . The fragments are 5.2-5.4 × 9 cm and 4.6 × 8.3-8.5 cm in size and described with round Glagolitic lizas. The language has Serbo-Croatian influences.

The fragments are now in the Hungarian National Library in Budapest , call number Vet. Slav. Duod. 2 .
